LEAD IN DRINKING WATER
We take pride in providing safe clean drinking water for the Town of Rimbey. Our extensive water testing during our water treatment process monitors colour, taste and smell, but the most important tests we do are to ensure the water is safe for your and your family to drink.

Sewage treatment is provided by a two lagoon system. The lagoon north of Town includes 4 anaerobic ponds and 3 storage ponds. The system to the south of Town consists of an aeration system with 2 cells providing aeration and 2 storage ponds.
Residential garbage is collected once per week (Thursdays) and recycling is picked up bi-weekly (Tuesdays).
The recycle facility is located just NE of Rimbey, next to the north lagoon and is open: Tuesdays and Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Material can be dropped off only during the hours of operation. Do not drop off and leave items outside the gate.
