Community Clubs and Services

Agricultural Society
Deanna Browne, Grounds Keeper & Bookings - (403) 748-4808
Will Mackinaw, President
Ag. Centre - (403) 843-2929

The Society maintains the agricultural grounds, including a spacious rodeo arena, with a racetrack, and promotes agricultural events in the community.  The Agriplex has a 60' x 220' sand-based arena, 20' x 30' food service area.  Annual events include the Bull Review, Cutter Parade and the ever famous Rimbey CARA Rodeo!

The Society has many new and vibrant members this year, and has set a lofty goal of developing plans for and the erection of a 200' by 300' brand new indoor facility!  The multi-use, multi-faceted facility is in the planning stages now, and will be coming into the construction phase in the very new future.  We are looking at funding promised by all levels of Government, as well as our own fundraising initiatives including raffles, concerts and rodeos.

The building itself is going to incorporate several green influences that will bring overall cost down due to savings in both heating and water usage.  The name "AGRIM" has been given to the project, and it will be a sight to see as well as an attractive, profitable and community oriented opportunity.

Please go to the following link and complete the survey regarding the new facility:
